English Exhibition

Good morning
I\'m planing to open an English ehibition in my school...i need your opinions in the materials and tips to have a good one....
I wanna it to be useful for all the pupils and interesting...

Wow, Great idea mashallah,
well, hmmmmm let me picture the place, u can divide the place into parts, related to material, aids. e.g powerpoint shows, Flash programme related to their lessons. this is part. another part is wall papers or u may use them as backGround of ur exhibition.
from now on, open a contest for all students to participte in the exhibition, that is give each group a board to work on, and decorate it the way the like, but the rule is they have to do it in enligsh and to be related to their lessons.and choose the best one :)
some students have talents mashallah in drawing and paiting, use their help by drawing on boards. or designing cards to be given for visitors as a memoral thing in the opining of the exhibition.

first of all thank you for your nice ideas
they are really nice and interesting
but the problem that I don\'t have a particular place in the school to do the exhibition ... so I\'ll just use the art room for some time... so decorating a part is dificult....having pictures or pupils drawing ones is a nice idea
but what else that i can apply...
pupils have done tow magazines which are very nice
about the powerpoint what are the topics is better to have

Salaam sis,
u r welcome :) 1s regarding powerpoints show.. it could be related to subject in their books.. like if they are studying about the environment, see i think that each unit is talking about a theme right! so let them do a show related to that. or the importance of english language, or illustration of a grammatical rule, or functional expressions.
then there are some board which are not fixed on the wall.. i dont\' know if you have them in ur schoo, if not then on a wall paper.. that will subsitue the boards :)
hmmmmmm, u can show some projects that are done by the students or the teachers illustrating the subject.
Also, u can show ur own projects, idea about a teaching method that u want to apply in ur classes :) in the future.
in addition, if u can invit some english language institution to ur exhibition, let them talk to students and show them the courses that they can talk after school, during the summer holiday.
in the second day, u can invit someone else, a doctor, an engineer, a policeman.. and let them talk to students about the usage and the importance of learning english nowadays.
U can ask some bookshops to come and show educational materials like..english books, stories, cassestts. and share the profits with them ^_^ and dont forgive me .. just pray for me..ur success is mine wallah..
